This book is about the Baha'i law that requires Baha'is wishing to marry, to obtain the consent of their parents to do so. Few people these days have not been touched by the break up of a marriage. They have either had friends they loved and admired become separated or divorced, or a family member be involved in a marriage which broke up. This book was written to assist in understanding this parental obligation. It is helpful not only to be familiar with the law of consent, which itself is quite simple, but to have an appreciation of subjects and issues related directly to it.
