Review This Product This is a narrative about the martyrdom of the author's sister: Miss Simin Saberi. Simin Saberi was martyred alongside six other girls and three other women in Shiraz, in the year of 1983. The book includes a brief account of the manner in which the author's parents became believers of the Bahá'í Faith and the memories he carries from his childhood. The author then recounts the subsequent rise of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the calamities and disasters that befell the innocent Bahá'ís of the land of Iran, including the arrests and martyrdom of 226 of the believers; starting from the early unrest in 1978 until September of 2016. The book also examines the efforts made by the Iran Human Rights Documentation Centre, and the internal correspondence of the Islamic Republic of Iran with regard to the denial of human rights to the Bahá'ís of Iran.

Warrior Grandma: The Story of Patricia Locke by Littlebrave Beaston is the latest title in the Change Maker series. Patricia Locke—whose Lakota name, Thawáchin Wašté Win, means “Compassionate Woman”—courageously fought for the equality of Indigenous people in the United States and around the world. She was not only a staunch advocate for the rights of Indigenous people but a loving mother and grandmother.
This book teaches the values of generosity, selflessness, and the importance of building strong family relationships. Readers will learn about how prejudice affects American Indians and how Patricia advocated for equal rights for Indigenous people during her lifetime. The book also discusses the qualities of leadership, the principle of consultation, and the importance of courage and perseverance in the face of oppression and attempted assimilation. Patricia acted as a bridge between two cultures—white and Indigenous—and, even in the face of overwhelming difficulties, she always demonstrated compassion toward others. She embodied the qualities of a true Change Maker.

Review This Product This collection of inspiring and uplifting talks documents an extraordinary series of public addresses 'Abdu'l-Baha gave on his historic trip to the West in the early twentieth century. Despite advanced age and poor health, he set out from Palestine in 1911 on a momentous journey to Europe and North America to share the teachings and vision of the Baha'i Faith with the people of the West.
Addressing such subjects as the nature of humankind, the soul, the Prophets of God, the establishment of world peace, the abolition of all forms of prejudice, the equality of women and men, the harmony of science and religion, the causes of war, and many other subjects, 'Abdu'l-Baha spoke in a profound yet simple manner that transcended social and cultural barriers. His deep spiritual wisdom remains as timely and soul-stirring as it was over a century ago.
