This volume inaugurates a new, redesigned series Baha'i World, the publication conceived almost 70 years ago as the principle public record of Baha'i activities around the globe. Following 19 volumes of the original series, the redesign is undertaken primarily in response to growing public interest in the Baha'i Faith and a desire to respond better to the needs of serious researchers. This volume reproduces major documents and provides statistical data and other detailed information on the Baha'i Faith's wide-ranging program of activities. It is illustrated with many photographs, maps and charts.
