This expanded third edition was issued in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the visit of 'Abdu'l-Baha to Green Acre.

This volume tells the remarkable story of the origins and development of Green Acre Baha'i School, its founder, Sarah Farmer, and the illustrious visit of 'Abdu'l-Baha in 1912. In the early days of Green Acre it attracted such people as W.E.B. DuBois, William Lloyd Garrison, Swami Vivekananda, Mary Hanford Ford, Julia Ward Howe, Booker T. Washington, and Edward Everett Hale. Once a resort hotel in 1890, this place eventually developed into a Baha'i school that today attracts visitors from all over the world.
