This part of the series covers the period between 1868-1877, in which the author presents a detailed background of the life of Baha'u'llah in the prison of Akka. The main purpose of this volume is to describe the contents of some tablets revealed by Baha’u’llah such as; Tablet of Salman, Tablet of Ra’is, Tablet of Fouad, Tablets sent to most powerful kings and rules, Suriy-i-Haykal, Tablet of Sultan, Tablet of vision and many others. Also deals with clarifications and explanations of many rules and regulations mentioned in the Kitab Al Aqdas. It also covers the life and conditions of some of the friends who came to visit Baha’u’llah.
