about to turn fifteen, transitioning to the age of spiritual maturity, and
is learning what all that entails as a Bahá’í. In the second book Fern
heads off to boarding school for the first time, feeling nervous about
being different but eventually making new friends. In the third book, Fern
is sixteen and home for the summer and grappling with questions about
disunity found in many of the world’s religions. With the help of family
and friends, she begins to study the Covenant in the Bahá’í
Faith.
