Janet Khan

Janet Khan is a former member of the Research Department at the Bah?'? World Center in Haifa, Israel. After completing a doctorate in counseling at the University of Michigan, she held academic positions at the University of Michigan and the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. Her research interests include gender issues, the role of women in religion, aspects of social change and the evolution of the Bah?'? system of administration. Her previous books are Prophet's Daughter: The Life and Legacy of Bah?yyih Kh?num, Outstanding Heroine of the Bah?'? Faith (Bah?'? Publishing, 2005), Heritage of Light, The Spiritual Destiny of America (Bah?'? Publishing, 2009), Call to Apostleship, Reflections on the Tablets of the Divine Plan (Bah?'? Publishing, 2016), and Advancement of Women, A Bah?'? Perspective (Bah?'? Publishing, 1998), which she coauthored with her late husband, Peter J. Khan, in 1998. She currently lives in Brisbane, Australia.
